Meet the Hutto Vision Team

Sean Hensley O.D.

Hutto Vision Care has been a lifelong dream of Dr. Hensley. Born and raised in Texas, he spent his childhood years locally at Pflugerville Middle School and Pflugerville High School as an academic athlete. He went on to study Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University where he met and married his beautiful wife, Melissa J. Hensley, DVM. She is now a veterinary surgeon at Animal Care Clinic of Round Rock.

Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, and fielding several optometry schools acceptances, Dr. Hensley chose the prestigious University of Houston College of Optometry. During four years of optometry school, he also completed an externship at Northeastern University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, he performed numerous laser surgical procedures as well as minor lid surgeries. Although surgery by an optometrist is not currently allowed by state law in Texas, his unique surgical experience allows him to properly recommend when surgery is necessary and which eye surgeon, or ophthalmologist, to refer his patients to.

Dr. Hensley, or Sean as he likes to be called in office, loves being a part of the local community and has served as a Rotarian, school advisory board member, and on the Hutto Chamber of Commerce Board. However, the recent addition of his first son has kept him around the house much more as of late. Dr. Hensley couldn’t be more proud to work and play in Hutto and would love to see you and your family at Hutto Vision Care!

Stanci

Stanci is our office manager and can usually be found verifying and filing insurance as well as applying an expert touch in the optical. She is a veteran of the optical field with over 10 years of experience. She enjoys trips to the coast and spending her free moments with family and friends.

Rachel

Rachel will typically be the first smiling face you see when you come in and will be your first point of contact. She assists with any questions you might have including appointments, insurance verification, and patient records. An Alabama native who has grown to love the Hutto community. She enjoys drinking coffee, playing volleyball, and enjoying the family farm.

Stormy

Stormy is our newest member hailing from Midland, Texas. She and her family are recent transplants and are growing to love Hutto and the surrounding areas. Stormy will likely be your intake technician and performing the majority of our additional testing if necessary. She enjoys her husband, family, and learning new things about our great area.
